 However I thought to my self "We'll see", so on Friday, 14th. September 1934. I got to Central in good time to meet him for the 6.35 p.m. train to Katoomba. Phil came to see us off and I fancy would have liked to come also and act as referee. We got comfortably seated although there was a good crowd on the train.
