Due to War and Winter it was solo walking with hardly a soul about, for which I was very grateful. Photography wasn't so good because of the lack of sun, but I have sent Joan a packet of photos just to prove I was there. As can be seen from one of myself, I'm well equipped for walking and have even made use of the hat which I believe gave rise to the name "Curtin's Cowboys". I have joined the Youth Hostel Assn., in case it miht be of use, and although I haven't stayed at a hostel yet, I might next month during a cycle tour of the CotswoldsThis is an "on with the correspondence" night so all the best to all Bushwalkers and specially to the B.S.C.
