 We were glad to cross the border again and come out of the cold hills to the warm sunny beach to the north in sunny New south Wales. Our short venture over the Victorian border merely confirmed my opinion of that State.
-That night we found a good campsite at Nadgee Inlet - one of the most scenic spots on the trip, and another day's walk took us to Merrikn, Creek. From there we drove to Disaster Bay and walked down the coast to another unspoiled inlet - the mouth of the Merrika River - and camped in a delightful spot behind an old timber loading platform.
