No one disputed the contents of the June minutes, and arising from them we were told Shoalhaven Shire Council had replied to our request to build on Coolana with a massive document setting out the "Requirements for a Dwelling". To this an answer was going back saying we didn't contemplate a dwelling.

It was thought that a higher figure might be obtained in view of the necessary destruction to bushland and wild life that could follow. There was advice too from Ed Stanton on the adjoining Quakers property of some damage resulting from the June downpour in Kangaroo Valley, and Dot Butler proposed a working bee in association with the Quakers for the 19/20th July weekend.

There was, we repeat, no walks report, and notes of Federation affairs have already been covered in the magazine.
