O Mad dogs and easterners go out in the noon day sun. Three groups from SEW went off last month to Central Australia, all have returned. And one group has returned with a dingo story - hold your breath and watch these pages for it. Could we form an Alice Springs branch of the SBW? Do they have bush walking clubs there? | O Mad dogs and easterners go out in the noon day sun. Three groups from SEW went off last month to Central Australia, all have returned. - | O Writing to Canberra. At the June General Meeting one Club member handed out some pro- forma letters addressed to the Prime Minister expressing concern about logging in Tasmania. The Editor has received a similar pro-forma letter addressed to the Federal Minister for the Environment. Should members wish they can get copies of these letter from the Editor. Since it is not so much the quality of the letter but the number of letters received, members could compose their own letters. Personally a thousand different letter I think would have more impact than multiple copies of a few pro-formas. If you require inspiration or the correct addresses then contact our Conservation Secretary, Alex Colley on 44 2707. | + | * Writing to Canberra.
